Swissport has opened a new 5,500 square metre import hub at Liege Airport in Belgium as part of its plan to expand its e-commerce logistics network in Europe. The company said the warehouse is dedicated to handling import parcels and is built to manage high volumes with a daily throughput capacity of up to 300 tonnes. The addition increases Swissport’s total e-commerce footprint at Liege to 9,000 square metres.
