The Covid-19 pandemic has been divisive for our parish family. Repeated lockdowns, masks, and restricted social gatherings physically separate us. Forced human segregation via vaccine passports take this division one step further.For some parishioners, these drastic measures aren’t enough.They unwittingly embrace the spirit of division by harshly policing their unmasked fellow brothers in Christ. Already, the maskless have been thrown out of Divine Liturgy without first considering their exemptions. Vigilantes patrol Church aisles and glare at the unmasked in order to ‘encourage’ compliance.
