We're back at the dojo!
We are pleased to announce that we will be resuming in-person training at the dojo, beginning Sunday, November 28.
We are also excited to announce our new location. Our new home is at Woodcliff United Church (5010 Spruce Dr SW, Calgary AB T3C 3B2).
Our new training schedule will be as follows:
Sundays: 4 - 7 PM Mountain time (at Woodcliff United & Zoom simultaneously)
Wednesdays: 6 - 9 PM Mountain (Zoom only)
In person guidelines:
Room capacity is limited, so visitors and drop-ins must RSVP to kamusokai@gmail.com . You will receive email confirmation with dojo entrance instructions.
Masks must be worn inside the building.
Physical distancing will be practiced.
If you're unwell, or have had close contact with someone who is unwell (e.g. any viral, bacterial or fungal infection), do not attend class. Please stay home and get better.
We look forward to seeing you at a class soon!
Ka Muso Kai is a member of the Canadian Kendo Federation and Jodo Canada. We practice four Japanese weapons-based arts: Iaido (the art of cutting from the draw), Jodo (the art of the Japanese short staff), Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu (Miyamoto Musashi's two-sword art) and Choken Battojutsu Kagéryu (one of the last surviving long-sword arts).
