Many reach their older years and begin slowing down, often by choice because, that's what you do when you get older, right??? Not if farmers I know, horse owners I know, and others who remain very active into their older years have anything to say on the matter. The notion that after a certain milestone, it's time to slow down, is a bunch of crock that is damaging and shortening many lives.
