Excellent advice from someone who knows exactly what is brewing. The only thing I would add to this is get comms (COMMUNICATIONS). 2 way Ham would be best, but at the very least get a good shortwave radio so you can tune into worldwide information -- you'll have no way to know what is happening if you do not because you think the news is skewed now? You ain't seen nothin' yet.
There is a lot of information on shortwave out there but I am biased -- I highly recommend this inexpensive book to help you with the knowledge you need, help you in choosing a radio, and give you the frequencies to tune to no matter where you are (I am biased, of course, because I wrote it) . . .

The most destructive thing I've witnessed in this patriot movement is that some people want to be the four star General without actually earning a rank. Check your ego at the door and focus on winning instead. Antifa has been far more organized than we have and that scares me.
You don't have to get together and "run and gun", wasting ammo. Get together and come up with a plan. A foreign entity recently tried to take down our cell phone comms system.
When SHTF, how will you contact your group? Do you have a predetermined rendezvous point? I do. Do you have all your necessities staged? I do. Do you have alternate routes of travel staged? I do.
